Imagine a decadent bowl of mouthwatering fruit sorbet made from a blend of local berries such as sweet strawberries, luscious raspberries and delicious blueberries. Nowimagine being able to rub your entire body with this sugary melting concoction in order to not only hydrate your skin but also to deliver oodles of nutrients and anti-aging benefits. Sounds too good to be true, right? Then you are going to love these two new products: our Fruit Smoothie and Fruit Sugar Smoothie.
The Fruit Smoothie is a rich body butter that absorbs beautifully into the skin leaving it soft and supple, while our Fruit Sugar Smoothie is a creamy exfoliator (made with cane sugar!) that melts onto your skin and rinses away easily, sloughing away dead skin cells. Both products contain powdered organic fruit grown right here in B.C. Yes, REAL fruit! The advantages (besides the heavenly aroma of ripe fruits) are endless: Strawberries are loaded with vitamin C which plays a key role in collagen production, helps treat blemishes and evens the skin tone. Raspberries are packed with anti-inflammatory benefits, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids along with vitamins A, C and E. Blueberries contain high levels of antioxidants as well as active ingredients with anti-aging properties.
Both our Fruit Smoothie and Fruit Sugar Smoothie are Shea Butter and Coconut Oil based. We use only 100% pure unrefined Ghanaian shea butter and non-GMO certified organic coconut oil. Coconut oil is known to help retain the skin's moisture and minimize the appearance of pores. Because it contains vitamin E, coconut oil works wonders in repairing and protecting the skin. We truly love using shea butter in our skin care products because of its high concentration of fatty acids and vitamins which nourish and soften the skin. We've also added high quality sunflower oil to both products, another ingredient that boasts a high fatty acid content and is known to protect your skin and give it a healthy glow. In our Fruit Sugar Smoothie we decided to use pure cane sugar as the exfoliant because sugar is extremely beneficial in skin care as it acts as a natural exfoliator. Sugar also contains glycolic acid which penetrates the skin to treat fine lines, blackheads and dull skin. These fun new products currently come in two delightfully yummy scents: Blueberry Mango and Strawberry. The Smoothies and Sugar Smoothies can be used separately or can be combined together for a wonderfully hydrating skin care regime.
