An apple a day keeps the doctor away.  Really?

Most people don't think of apples as a very exotic fruit. It may not be a tropical fruit but it really is pretty amazing. Practically since the beginning of time green apples have been recognized for all of the health benefits. One little green apple is jam packed full of proteins, vitamins, minerals, fibres, and the trace minerals potassium, copper, zinc, iron and manganese which are essential for good health helping to lower cholesterol and blood pressure to mention a couple of important health issues to stay on top of.

Eat green apples with the skin on and fill your gut with fibre to keep your system clean and regulate your bowels. There is nothing like a smooth and efficient running main system of the human body. Apples help to grow and maintain strong healthy bones and help prevent and control diabetes.

When it comes to healthy glowing skin green apples are not only beneficial from consumption but are also widely used in natural skin care products in a wide range of skin preparations including hair products. Green apples contain vitamins A, B and C which keeps free radicals and skin cancer at bay. These vitamins also nourish the skin and help prevent some kinds of skin diseases.
